Creation of Spin Information Resources

Towards New Computational Principles

We are investigating structures and materials to reduce the write power of non-volatile magnetic memory. Furthermore, we have begun validating ideas aimed at simultaneously achieving three key advantages—miniaturization, high speed, and low power consumption—by leveraging new information carriers based on stable topological materials.

Magnetic Random-Access Memory (MRAM)

We are investigating concepts such as reducing data-writing power consumption, enabling write operations that do not require magnetic field assistance, and implementing multi-level data storage toward non-volatile MRAM.

Skyrmions as a New Information Resource

We are currently validating concepts through interface engineering, aiming to simultaneously realize three key advantages—miniaturization, high speed, and low power consumption—by harnessing these novel information carriers.
